Vape canisters part of cache of drugs seized in Stamford – The Advocate

STAMFORD — Police say six men were arrested this weekend after they were found with more than three pounds of pot, nearly $5,000 in cash and 87 vaporizer canisters containing THC, the active ingredient in marijuana.

Capt. Richard Conklin said the arrests came after Narcotics and Organized Crime officers conducted surveillance for several weeks of what turned out to be a marijuana dealing operation on Raymond Street.

The officers raided the place about 7 p.m. Saturday and found the six men sitting at a table stuffing pot into different sized bags for street sales, Conklin said.

Conklin said police seized about three and a half pounds of marijuana in plastic bags and about 5 grams of powder ccocaine. Conklin said they also found $4,941 in cash. The vape cartridges, which are legal for sale in states like California and Colorado, went by various names such as Pineapple Express, Blackberry Kush and Diesel, Conklin said.
