Michigan Cannabis Market Now Worth More Than US$3 Billion: Study

The report reflects “a vibrant regulated marketplace with unlimited economic potential,” says Shelly Edgerton, chair of the Michigan Cannabis Manufacturers Association.

Although Michigan sold nearly a billion dollars worth of pot in its first year of legalization, a new study says the market is in fact much larger.

Published by the Michigan-based Anderson Economic Group (AEG) and commissioned by the Michigan Cannabis Manufacturers Association, the report values the market at nearly US$3.2 billion ($4 billion).
