Tennessee drug bust yields seven pounds marijuana, 31 vials of THC vape liquid – WZTV

SPRINGFIELD, Tenn.–The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office seized seven pounds of high-grade marijuana and 31 vials of high-potency THC vape liquid from a residence on Wednesday.

According to police, detectives serving a search warrant at the residence located on Highway 41-A in Pleasant View found the drugs as part of an illegal drug activity investigation.

Police say the street value of the marijuana and THC vape liquid is approximately $30,000. It marks the first such major seizure of THC vape cartridges. Sheriff Bill Holt found the THC vials especially disturbing.

“The THC vials is very disturbing because these can be used in plain sight and are not as easily discovered when used in the vapor cigarettes. I am proud of our team for investigating and getting these items off our streets,” Holt says.
