NEW CASTLE – If a vape shop wanted to open in town, it would have to be at least 2,000 feet from a school’s property line and be restricted to the town’s business or industrial districts 

Those are some of the key limits under a law the Town Board approved last week. 

Vape shops must also be at least 500 feet from a park, playground, library or religious institution, Town Supervisor Rob Greenstein said in a news release.
