Council holds second public hearing on e-cig, vape ordinance – Mountain Mail Newspaper

Salida City Council will hold the second reading and public hearing on an ordinance to prevent the use of e-cigarettes and other vaping devices in public places during its meeting at 6 p.m. today in council chambers, 448 E. First St.

Chaffee County Public Health presented its recommendations to the council during an Oct. 16 work session, suggesting the city needed a better definition of tobacco and tobacco products.
